Cornwall Green Party aimed to raise £2,000 to fight the local elections on 1 May 2024. With no corporate sponsors, your support matter
A general election was called for 4th July 2024. And we selected Green candidates to stand in many seats in Cornwall.
Candidates like Cath Hayes in Camborne and Redruth, who’s been a powerful voice speaking up for affordable housing and a fairer deal for people in Cornwall. Amanda Pennington in St Austell and Newquay, who’s fought hard and successfully to defend local services. And Karen La Borde in Truro and Falmouth, a hard-working councillor and effective campaigner on the climate emergency.
But standing in a general elections aren’t cheap, and Cornwall Green Party urgently needed to raise money to help pay for:
Unlike other parties, the Green Party is not bankrolled by ultra-wealthy donors. We depend on our members and supporters like you. And if we can’t raise the money we need to fight this election, Green voices will go unheard.
Will you help us make sure that Green voices are heard loud and clear in this election? Even a small contribution of £10 or £20 would be a big help.
Thank you so much for chipping in!
