Let's elect Lauren Bird in Midstocket & Rosemount!

Aim

Please donate to Lauren Bird’s campaign to be elected in the Midstocket and Rosemount By-Election on the 8th of October.

We want to bring Green representation to Aberdeen City Council. With a Green voice in the room we can make a real, substantive change to people’s lives.

"I have lived in Rosemount for over 5 years now. Working in public facing roles in and around the city, I've gotten to know the city and the people living here well. I have always cared deeply for people and communities as well as nature and the environment. I want Aberdeen to thrive and live up to it's potential."

If you want someone who truly cares for the people living here and our environment, please consider donating to our campaign.

If elected to represent the Midstocket and Rosemount ward, I will work to improve communication between the city council and local residents, through clearer signage, regular emails, and in-person meetings. I want to build a system to create a better environment for renters. I will be a loud and tough voice against landlords and factors, holding them to account for maintaining buildings across the ward and wider city. My focus will be on preventative measures to lower crime and anti-social behaviour through revitalising the high street, planting trees, and widening access to childcare and places for young adults to hang out.

I will always be on the side of greener, fairer policies, from public transport links to the energy transition, I will be there for people.

This is a people-powered campaign, and your donation will make a huge difference. The Greens don’t have wealthy donors or shady sponsorship, we rely on people like you.

Donations are crucial to scaling up our campaign across Aberdeen City & Shire. They will:

• £10 will deliver 150 leaflets across Midstocket & Rosemount
• £50 will print 650 newsletters raising awareness of the work we’re doing
• £100 will deliver campaign training to our volunteers to encourage people to get out to vote.
• Any donation you can give is helping us towards a fairer future.

Please note: if you are kind enough to donate more than £50 to Lauren’s campaign your name and address will be checked against the electoral register to ensure you are a permissible donor.
