The Vision: Where Underground Culture Meets Community Support
The Vision:
For years, Broken Heart Underground Promotions has been about the spirit of the underground. Now, we are starting a new chapter. We are taking that DIY grit and turning it into a permanent, multi-disciplinary creative hub in the heart of Bradford.
The Project Status: The Final Hurdle
We have identified a historic, vacant Bradford city-centre site that has been silent since July 2025. We are currently in the final stages of securing the lease, with a proposed 12-month rent-free period and a 2-year safety net already on the table. We have £10,000 in assets and equipment ready to move in. Now, we need the community to help us cross the finish line.
The "Real" Factor
True to the BHU spirit, we are building this on a shoestring. It won’t be polished or corporate on Day One - it will be real, built with our own hands, for the community, by the community.
We are aiming for an August Grand Opening once our 8–12 week planning and safety window is complete.

How the Money Works:
As a CIC, we have a legal Asset Lock. Every penny stays in this project. Your donations will fund:
- Legal & Safety: Finalising the "In-House" lease and installing essential Fire Safety and CCTV systems.
- The DIY Build: Physical building work and the fit-out of our rehearsal and event areas.
- Specialist Equipment (Kitchen): Adding the final tech and tools we don't yet have.
- The Workshop Bonus: Extra funds will directly launch our first series of community workshops.
