Let there be lights for Pericles Theatre Company!

Aim

We are looking to raise £4,000 to enable us to buy our own stage lighting so our actors can always enjoy the limelight they deserve!

Pericles Theatre Company is part of Pericles, a pioneering and original training-and-work project formed in 1997 to provide an innovative approach to supporting adults with learning difficulties and those with mental health issues to integrate into the local community. 

The theatre company brings together people with complex needs and local actors and musicians, and together we learn new skills and hone existing ones while producing award-winning theatre shows which reach enthusiastic audiences both in our local community and further afield, all under the guidance of our director Vasile Nedelcu.

We perform in local halls and at festivals, indoors and outside, and often there is no stage lighting available. If we had our own lights it would make all the difference.  We'd be able to perform ANYWHERE (and at any time of day or night), and our shows would sparkle as we always hope they will!

£4,000 would enable us to buy a basic set of lights with carrybag/roadcase - another £1,000 and we could have an even more flexible set up.

We will soon start work on a new show and we would love to know that we will be able to light it up in time for Christmas!
