My story begins on a council estate in Camden with a memory of a heavy old upright piano being hauled up the stairs. Remembering the chipped keys being played after hearing the Queen of the Night's aria from Mozart's,  The Magic Flute on the radio for the first time. This aria became my foundation, by respecting this demand for accuracy in music I became a classical singer.

I went to Camden School for Girls and was determined to have music in my life, signing up to both choirs and an orchestra on receiving my school flute. Somehow my single mother found the money for all the lessons, books, outfits and travel, for myself and siblings.

In 1998 I was awarded a grant from the Princes trust that would allow me to study at the Trinity College of Music junior dept. and receive my first singing lessons. This led to completing a degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff in 2003. On returning to London I found myself working up the ladder in hospitality. But In 2009 I began lessons once again with the internationally renowned Will Hancox and performed several lunch time recitals, giving my first solo performance in 2012.

Two children and some testing times my heart has once again turned to music. In a plea to get my voice out there this time, I'm asking for your help in taking the first step to a career, that can offer hope to those from the council estate, those from minorities, those who are looking for a new direction or those like me coming back to it, by creating a demo to show case my voice.

The money raised would go towards a professional on site film and sound recording. It would also help cover the cost of singing lessons and practice rooms, text books, coaching, language and diction lessons and the coasts of masterclasses and courses. Raising this money will provide opportunities for other concerts in other  communities that have yet to hear the wonder of a classical voice. I'd like to be part of a bigger picture.
