At the Leigh Leopards Foundation, we’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible power that sports and community have in transforming lives. Our journey has led us to create impactful learning disabilities and wheelchair training teams. Now, with your support, we can take the next bold step: expanding our inclusive sports programs to serve even more individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), from age 8 and up.
Physical activity isn’t just about fitness; it’s about confidence, joy, and connection. For those with SEND, however, access to these experiences often comes with unique challenges. Many face isolation and lack of opportunities for physical activities tailored to their needs, leaving them feeling left out. We believe that no one should feel excluded because of a disability, and we’re here to change that in our community!

- Expand Weekly Grassroots Development Sessions: These sessions are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and empowering, allowing each individual to develop their physical skills, social connections, and self-confidence.
- Build a Sense of Belonging: Through sports, participants can connect with others facing similar challenges, reducing the isolation that many in the SEND community experience.
- Boost Wellbeing: Regular physical activity is proven to enhance mental and emotional wellbeing. Our goal is to help every participant feel healthier, happier, and more resilient.
