I will be running Leeds Marathon on Sunday 14th May 2023 to try and raise some money for SHABANG! Inclusive Learning.
SHABANG! is a small local charity based in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield. They run creative projects for children and young people with additional needs and their families including drama, theatre, music, signing and arts & crafts. They are committed to bringing accessible and appropriate projects to children and young people whatever their abilities and believe passionately that everyone has the right to participate .

My son, Luke, was born in 2014 and has Downs Syndrome. Ever since his birth, SHABANG! have been a great source of support for me and my family so I am trying to ensure that more families can get the same support.
Luke loves attending SHABANG!, along with lots of other people who have additional needs. It is also a great meeting place for families to offer support & help.
Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
