Aim

Elect Leeann McWhinnie as the SNP councillor in Peterhead North & Rattray.

The Aberdeenshire Council elections are just around the corner. In Peterhead North and Rattray, this is a straight fight between the SNP and the Conservatives, who are fielding two candidates. 

Our local candidate is Leeann McWhinnie, a local resident who previously worked in the energy sector for Kvaerner in Ellon and latterly Wood Group in Peterhead, leaving in 2004 to become a full-time mum to her son, who is autistic. Leeann also worked as an Administration Assistant in the local Education Department and played an active role in her local Parent Council, initially as secretary, then chairperson and latterly as a committee member.

The Tories are targeting seats in the North-east and are pouring money into their campaign. We need to match them pound for pound, and your
support will be invaluable in ensuring we can campaign on a level playing field.
