I'm Dave, Founder & Executive Producer for BrandB Rad!o, a non-profit project born from three passions – a love of music, communication and our planet. I asked myself, could there be a popular, influential, audio-platform focused on the environment and what we're doing - and can do yet - in meeting the challenge our Climate & Nature poses?
Why BrandB Rad!o? The mainstream media rarely covers the breadth and impact of our green transition, preferring to frame the story in terms of doom and gloom. We’re flipping the script and shifting the energy by platforming the eco-news, practical information, campaign organisations, environmental events and so much more. We’ll connect our change-making listeners to the organisations and brands who want to engage with their continuing awareness and action on the issues.
Our mission is to educate, entertain and inspire our listeners to further climate action and planet-friendly lifestyle choices. With guest podcasts, passionate interviews, quirky ecotainment and documentaries to guided meditations and classic contemporary music, BrandB Rad!o's talent will create programmes that have a different effect!
Our programme launch-schedule is already populated with both guest and in-house programmes but to finally go live we’re aiming to raise £35,000. This will help us cover the costs of producing the remaining high-quality content we need, pay for our music and internet licences and studio equipment to host live shows and interact with our audience.
