Who are we?

Who are we?

Instonians Hockey Club are based in Shaw's Bridge, in South Belfast. With 150+ senior members across 4 male teams from 15 - 65+, along with 120+ under 15s 15 members hockey for junior and senior players at elite and recreational levels at various Ulster and Irish Leagues.    

Why are we crowdfunding?

Player retention is a big focus for the hockey club in the latest club development plan. This project will institute a further improvement in the way we develop players. All young players follow the Ulster Hockey Branch's player pathway and enjoy dedicated coaching from our 20+ volunteer coaches and 3 paid coaches. We aim to increase numbers playing hockey; improve player retention; improve Instonians success in Ulster and Irish competitions; help improve the standard of Ulster and Irish hockey by training players who can compete at the highest levels of the game.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
