This prize draw is running to raise money for urgent structural repairs to our radio ship 'Ross Revenge' in dry dock to secure her future
The Prize
Our Crowdfunder Priz
e Draw is for a detailed model of Radio Caroline's former pirate radio ship ‘Ross Revenge’, which began her broadcasting career in August 1983 out at sea in international waters. The ship is still broadcasting Radio Caroline North each month from her mooring on the Blackwater Estuary. The model measures 23 ins length x 3 ins width x 26.5 ins high to top of mast.
By entering our prize draw you will be supporting our charity Ross Revenge (Home of Radio Caroline) which continues to raise funds to get this legendary vessel into dry dock for structural urgent work to ensure her future. The more we can raise, the more essential work we can do to preserve this important piece of broadcasting history
Due to the delicate nature of the model it can be delivered to a mainland UK address only. An overseas winner will need to arrange collection from a UK address or from Radio Caroline in Essex

The Cause
‘Ross Revenge' is in urgent need of dry docking, where surveys and structural repairs can be carried out. We hope to get the ship in to dry dock in Hull in the autumn
Our prize draws supplement our fundraising appeal to achieve our goal of securing the future of our historic ship for generations to come. The former pirate radio ship 'Ross Revenge' is still regularly broadcasting at sea today and more than 1,200 visitors tour the ship each year. The vessel is an important part of both deep sea fishing and broadcasting history. To lose her would be a tragedy.
