Lancing Football Club Fundraiser 2023

Aim

This page has been setup as we have had overwhelming interest from people asking how they can support the club.

Who are we?

Lancing FC is a community football club based in Lancing, West Sussex.

Our Men’s First Team play in the Pitching In Isthmian South East League.   

This Is the highest level that our First Team have played at during our 82-year history. We won promotion to the South East League in 2021 and we are keen to build on this achievement.

We have a growing and loyal fan base, with home attendances this season well over double compared to pre-covid levels.

The Club is ambitious and keen to succeed both on and off the pitch.     

We were delighted to appoint ex Brighton and Leyton Orient player Dean Cox as our new manager in December.

This is such an exciting signing for Lancing FC - Dean shares our hunger for success and we see his appointment as a big step towards achieving our goals.

Since the appointment of Coxy we have been inundated with offers of support and we believe that this crowdfund is the ideal way to channel this support as Dean strives to take our first team and our club to the next level.

Community impact

The club supports teams from Junior Under 7’s right through to our Men’s First Team. We are an extremely important part of the local community and we also run several community initiatives.

We support a number of local and national Charities, recently raising funds for CALM, Mind Lancing and Fairtrade.    We were runners up at the Active Sussex “Club or The Year” awards in 2018.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We been contacted by many people from the football community who would like to donate to the club.   

We see this as the ideal way for people to contribute to the Lancing FC First Team – every penny raised in this crowdfund will go towards our player funds.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Funds raised will help the team compete at this very competitive level.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
