To transform Lancaster CC and give opportunities to all for participation and excellence in sport.
Who We Are
Lancaster Cricket Club is a proud Clubmark-accredited community club, home to four senior teams and a thriving junior section from All Stars (U7) through to U17s. Our mission is simple: to inspire participation in cricket, promote active lifestyles, and provide a welcoming sporting hub for the Lancaster community.
Driven entirely by volunteers, our committee and helpers give countless hours to grow the club—and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.
Why We Need Your Support
After successfully improving our net facilities a few years ago, we’re once again reaching out to our members, players, sponsors, local businesses and friends. With hospitality income still recovering after Covid, we can no longer rely on bar takings alone to fund essential upgrades.
To keep moving forward, we need your help.
Our Next Project
To meet growing demand and maintain the momentum of recent years, we’re ready to make significant improvements to our facilities.
Our plans include:
A complete refurbishment of our ageing practice nets, including brand-new flooring, netting and caging
Replacing our heavily weathered covers and sightscreens
These upgrades will improve training quality, increase playing opportunities and strengthen our capacity to serve the local community.
On the Field
Participation in our junior section has grown by nearly 20% in the last two years, boosted by our popular Summer School and the launch of our brand-new girls’ section. We are committed to offering a safe, fun, inclusive environment for young players of all backgrounds.
We may not win every league title, but we do develop confident, active and happy young cricketers—and that’s what matters most.
Our Role in the Community
Beyond cricket, Lancaster CC plays an active part in local life. Our annual fundraisers, including the much-loved firework display, help keep the club running and bring the community together.
