LadyBoxx

Aim

The aim of my project is to provide a fun, easy and entertaining alternative to a Girls Night In.

LadyBoxx is for women who have friends that they either haven't seen in a while or want to make the next meet a little more special. We have taken all the hassle out of sourcing a lot of different products for your Birthday, Hen party, Baby Shower or just a good old fashioned sleepover. 

As a mum of two, I have to plan my life around my children, and at times find ways to bring them out with me when being social. Fortunately for me I have both friends with kids and friends without kids that both inspired me to start this business. 

My mum friends and I would plan a day for the kids and then go back to one of our houses and the kids would get to have a sleepover. Once the little ones were all asleep we would play games, catch up, have a drink and just be women enjoying each others company. When I was turning 24 I wanted to bring together the important women in my life to me to celebrate (mum friends, non mum friends, colleagues and family). I'm a winter baby so it's always cold on my birthday and I thought it'll be fun to have a massive Pyjama Party instead of a cold night out clubbing, were we would barely talk to each other. It took me so much effort to source all the different snacks, decorations, booze, cutlery, what games to keep them entertained and trying to figure out what worked for everyone else. Multiple shops visited, multiple websites and last minute additions. This wasn't the first party I had ever planned but it was the one that inspired The Classic Boxx.

I'm very lucky to have my best friends and sisters regularly come round to mine for movie nights/game nights. That's 5 women meeting once every two weeks or so for a little catch up, some snacks, a drink, games and a movie. When I came up with "The Classic Boxx" I knew I had to come up with something that was for the smaller more regular gatherings, the "SwagBag". This could be for a group for flat mates that want to do something a little different and fun for a change. Or for a more intimate way for a group of colleagues who have wanted to get together for a while, can bond and learn more about each other. Whoever you may use it with, you will be having fun.

With the money I am raising I will be spending it on the things I need in order to launch LadyBoxx.

As well as The classic Boxx and Swagbag I will also be selling a few items that I think will give your party a personal touch depending on the reason that everyone is gathering.

and many more. I will continue to do research into the types of party items I can add to my products list.
