The aim of this project is to raise money to publish my brother's books, Lady Fizzington of House Pom-Pom - a children's book about a cat!
My brother, Ben Wright, was one of the greatest human beings to have ever lived. A dedicated fan of football and wrestling, and a hardcore runner - often doing skydiving and marathons to raise money for cancer and Alzheimer charities - Ben had a loving and caring personaility that just lit up the room. He was also a huge Batman fan and loved cats! He even wrote a book based on a cat that lived down the road from us, which he named Fizzy due to her being so fluffy.
I had the pleasure of reading his books and they were the funniest thing I'd ever read, I always told him he should publish them as I was certain so many would love to read them.

Sadly, in March 2025, my brother passed away from causes that are still unknown to this day. His death left a hole in the heart of all those knew him - friends and family alike. To this day, I still can't process that he is gone.
Thankfully, he let me have his manuscript for his Fizzy books, of which he wrote 8 in total. I have made it my mission to publish these books in his honour - which is the reason I am running this campaign.
I have hired an artist to do artwork for the book, named Acqueli Anime (online handle) She did an amazing job bringing Fizzy to life and I cant wait to see what else she brings. A sample of work she has done is below.

I absolutely love this artwork - and this is just a taste of what is to come!
Your donations will go towards publishing and printing costs. I aim to try and get this book in as many shops as possible. I know a couple of book shops that would be keen to have it in stock. I also have plans to release it as an Ebook, but the physical copy is where I am focusing on mostly.
Everyone who donates to this project will get a mention at the end of the book. Those who donate £5 or more will have their own copy posted to them when the book is published - which I hope to have at the end of the year.
I will be sharing sample chapters and more art over the coming weeks as they are delivered to me, so you will see how the project is coming along.
This is a project that is very close to my heart and I do hope I can publish this book for Ben. He has a story that I believe deserves to be told.
Thank you for reading, any questions please let me know.
