We provide single-room emergency accommodation 24/7 for any adult in West Norfolk with nowhere safe to stay, with all meals, 24-hour pastoral care, and one-to-one support linking our guests with partner organisations in the area to help them find a home of their own. We make no charge to our guests for their stay and receive no Government funding so look to our supporters to help make this vital work possible.

The King's Lynn Night Shelter is the only charity in West Norfolk providing emergency accommodation for the homeless this winter. Re-opening this November in our lovely home at St John's House, we're looking forward to welcoming our guests with a safe place to stay, a room of their own, food, someone to talk to, and one to one support with everything from registering with a GP surgery to accessing help with addiction or mental health or debt, from getting in touch with the local authority housing team to finding positive and sustainable accommodation of their own.
As a Charity we receive no Government funding for our work. We support our guests to claim Housing Benefit as a contribution to the cost of their stay here but the remainder of our income each year comes from grants and from donations from groups or individuals. We're here because you want us to be here - because you want to make sure there is somewhere in our community where anyone with nowhere safe to stay tonight can go, 24/7, to find help.
