KLDC Dance World Cup Team

Aim

Supporting our young dancers in Team England at the Dance World Cup 2019, in Braga, Portugal.

The Finals of the Dance World Cup 2019 takes place in Braga, Portugal from 28th June to 6th July, with over 5000 competitors worldwide, and including an amazing 18 dancers from Kahli Lewis Dance Company who have been selected to represent Team England as part of Team GB. Representing Team England from KLDC are 3 soloists, a quartet and 2 ballet groups. But as anyone with a hard working dancing child can appreciate, this all costs extra money. We need to raise at least £6000 to send the children out to Portugal which will cover their Team Tracksuit, kit, accommodation, and travel, and the kids have already risen to the challenge (in the times between festivals and exams). In the diary is a KLDC ‘bag pack’ at Morrisons, a family quiz night, and a weekly tuck shop at the dance school run by the dancers. We have set up this Crowdfunding site for friends and family, or those who simply want to wish the kids the best of luck through a small funds contribution. Thank you for any donations, of any size!
