We're still collecting donations
On the 1st March 2022 we'd raised £25,010 with 133 supporters in 95 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To refurbish the KLCC nets. To turn the gravel pits into the best possible practice facility.

On the 1st March 2022 we'd raised £25,010 with 133 supporters in 95 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
If we do raise more than our (ambitious) target we will add to the facilities at the club, where additional training kit will be well used by the Junior and Senior section!
Kings Langley Cricket Club was founded in 1830, and with our 200th anniversary in sight, we continue to flourish as a local community ECB Clubmark cricket club. We field three Senior Men’s teams in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League and are immensely proud of our thriving Junior section. In 2021, we had over 100 Junior members registered at the club, with a bumper crop of younger children enjoying our ECB All Stars provision, as well as running 4 age-group teams.
We are looking to raise £20,000 to refurbish our outdoor Net Facilities. The existing bays had become in serious need of upgrade, with the surface having become unsafe for facing faster bowling. We have now spent two years without any net facilities at all, after an initial attempt to start the work was thwarted by the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
In March 2020, work started on our Net Refurbishment. Following some initial fundraising events, years of careful financial management of the club and with detailed plans for how to raise additional funds throughout the 2020 season, we felt confident we could afford this project and safeguard the club’s financial status.
As work started, concerns around COVID-19 were growing and after 2 days we felt compelled to pause the work. Within the days, people were being asked to work from home and within weeks the country was in lockdown.
The result of the work undertaken was that the existing net surface was removed – and we have been unable to continue the work due to the impact of lost revenue from the bar and from private event hires. We have been unable to hold planned events and uncertainty continues over what we will be able to host in the coming months.
We have worked hard during the pandemic to protect the club financially and to comply with all guidelines. We would welcome your support to enable us to complete this project.
In 2030, we will celebrate our 200th anniversary.
When we mark this occasion, we are determined to be a thriving club on and off the field, with players of all ages and abilities welcomed, accommodated and supported in playing and enjoying the best cricket they can.
We want to be able to offer high-quality training facilities that will support the performance of our existing senior players and enhance the development of our next generation of talent.
We are excited to see members of our first generation of All Stars graduates progressing into the senior teams and becoming an integral part of the club that will continue to pass on a love of the game to the generation that follows.
We are proud to be a part of the community in Kings Langley. Our clubhouse is a popular venue for private parties and events and is used for community events and meetings.
This work will help to provide a facility that will benefit many families in the local community now and long into the future.
