Install an artificial training space to improve opportunities for juniors, ladies & community cricket development.
One of the counties oldest cricket clubs, who have recently undergone a committee change, and built a new direction for the club. Now with two senior teams, a thriving ladies section, plus All Stars & Dynamos junior projects, we are looking to improve our facilities
As a small community club, we rely hugely on donations, local business support, and community events, to fund our day-to-day running, and long-term aims.
Thanks to Sport England, we have had pledged £6,000 to our project, providing we raise the other £6,000 through crowdfunding.
Money raised through this crowdfunding project will go directly towards the installation of an all-weather artificial wicket.
Community impact
This will have a huge impact on our ability to host more junior and ladies fixtures and training sessions, while reducing the time volunteers spend preparing pitches, lowering maintenance and energy costs, and making our facilities more accessible to schools and the wider community.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
