Aim

To help Mayhew provide lifesaving care, warmth and safety to vulnerable kittens arriving during kitten season.

Kitten season has arrived at Mayhew, bringing some of the smallest and most vulnerable lives into our care.

Tiny kittens found abandoned and alone. Pregnant mothers needing somewhere safe to give birth. Litters requiring round-the-clock feeding, warmth and constant monitoring to survive.

And already, more cats and kittens are needing our help.

When Shego arrived at Mayhew, she was cold, fragile and far too young to survive alone.

At just a few weeks old, she needed feeding every two hours, day and night, alongside warmth, specialist milk and constant care from our dedicated team.

Without that support, kittens like Shego simply wouldn’t survive.

Meanwhile, kittens like Socute arrive needing urgent veterinary treatment after being found abandoned, unwell and vulnerable.

During kitten season, our Vet and Cattery Teams work tirelessly to provide emergency care, vaccinations, feeding, warmth and safety to every cat and kitten who comes through our doors.

With your support, we can continue to be there for them.
