Kitchen equipment for The Gleaners Cafe

Aim
The Gleaners are in need of some kitchen equipment & this is a crowdfunder to make that happen!
The Gleaners Community Cafe CIC are in need of some kitchen equipment! We are a well used and often very busy community kitchen so things wear down and break from time to time. We are looking to buy small and large equipment that will make our cooking experience both smooth and effective. We share our kitchen equipment with many other community groups that come in and use our space so what we buy they will be all used by many. We have a responsibility to ensure our kitchen and the equipment we have is of safe and working order, as well as providing good and practical tools that make the cooking experience fun and experimental!
Financially, the cafe is not in a place right now where we can buy equipment without feeling the strain. We want to prioritise paying our coop members as well as being able to buy organic food from UK based supplies for our community so this is why we are doing a crowdfunder for our kitchen equipment.
What we will buy:
- induction pans, industrial stick blender, knife sharpener, storage tubs for food, electric scales, insulated hay box for catering, mandolins, rice cookers
Left over fundraised money will be given to the Waltham Forest Migrants Action Centre, E17.
