FC United - Kit it Out

In just under three weeks, we have raised £20,000 on Crowdfunder towards the cost of kitting out the function room and community space at our new football ground. That football ground will be called Broadhurst Park, following a vote by FC United members at our general meeting in Manchester on 10 April.  

Pledges have been coming in at a rate of almost £1,000 a day which is pretty incredible when you think about it. The support that we have generated in, around and outside of the club is a joy to see and really encourages and inspires us all. A massive thank you goes to everyone who has donated so far. We really appreciate this support.

We now have just under £6,000 to raise in just over a month in order to reach our £26,000 target. This target is certainly within our grasp but there is no room for complacency. There cannot be either, because if we don't reach our £26k target by the deadline date of Monday 19 May then we don't get a penny of the cash.  

In short, we have to hit this deadline. 

If you haven't done so already, please circulate details of our Crowdfunder site to all your contacts and others who might be interested. The wider we can promote this the more profile we get and the more money we can raise to help kit out our ground. If you're reading this for the first time and haven't yet made a donation then please consider making a pledge. Every little helps and you'll be making a big difference.
