My aim is to turn my hobby into a business by raising funds for the tools and materials I need to help me create bespoke bags and baskets

I've been making crocheted bags and baskets as gifts for friends and family for a while. It started off as a hobby but I now want to progress and start a business where I can create bespoke bags and baskets.
My skills are self-taught and started crocheting as a way to wind down and it soon became my favourite past time. I made my first basket to help organise my toiletries and have not stopped experimenting and improving with each bag or basket that I've made.

Crocheting came naturally to me. I enjoy it and it’s clearly in the genes as well. Grew up watching both my maternal and paternal grandmothers make beautiful crocheted scarves, shawls and hats for me and my cousins. Handmade gifts that I still cherish to this day.
Having received compliments from friends and family for the crocheted items I had made I am encouraged to continue and grow this craft and transform my hobby into a business.
Embarking on this business idea will require some outside input . Any help will be gratefully received. External funding will help me get the materials I need to help create bespoke bags and baskets and hopefully expand the range of items made or are available.
I also hope to be able to offer workshops to others who want to learn crocheting.
Your pledge will help me get the materials required which include:
• Yarn - mainly recycled t-shirt yarn
• Bag and basket making materials - bases, handles, accessories
• Material - fabric for the inside lining and decoration
• Bag making tools - tools to help put projects together and ensure projects are are strong and durable
• Sewing equipment - thread, machine, markers
