Kirkstall Bridge Beer Garden!

Aim

After a few daft pictures were posted of us drowning our sorrows in our beloved (yet flooded) beer garden, it did one of them viral things.

We thought, perhaps rather shamelessly, to try to harness the publicity to raise funds for its reparation - there's a beer in it for you!

It’s now clear that we need to replace our event marquee and all of the damaged bar equipment and fridges inside. The electrics need to be re-done and (as is evident from the photo) we need to completely repair the  safety fence by the river.

We are well aware that other flood-damaged business in the country wouldn't be in the position of having a global audience but if you'd like to donate £5 and claim your free pint of Kirkstall for helping, Great!

OK, it is our fault for creating a beer garden by the river, particularly as we can’t get insurance cover. So, if you don't want to donate, don't whine at me for asking.
