Your support makes a difference
Engaging the public by organising a free, friendly, and welcoming community event.
Established in 2015, Kirkstall Art Trail is a free annual arts event held each July, transforming venues across the community into vibrant spaces for exhibitions, workshops, and creative activities. For one weekend, the trail invites everyone to explore and engage with a diverse range of artistic experiences.
Our aim is to create opportunities for the public to develop new creative skills and find inspiration from talented artists. We are committed to supporting artists from all backgrounds, offering guidance to emerging creatives, and providing platforms for established artists to showcase their work.
Kirkstall Art Trail has demonstrated a positive impact on both residents and artists. Visitors consistently report feelings of enjoyment, inspiration, and improved well-being as a result of their participation. The trail encourages residents to get involved, exhibit their own work, and build supportive networks within the local area.
Emerging artists often face difficulties accessing opportunities in the arts. Our free and welcoming event removes financial barriers, helping individuals build confidence and pursue their creative ambitions.
We are a small volunteer-led charitable, not-for-profit organisation, and fundraising is vital to achieve our aims. It enables us to expand our programme, reach a wider audience, and support more artists in their creative journeys. With your donations, Kirkstall Art Trail continues to bring communities together, foster social connections, and support mental well-being.
Your donation sustains our impact and ensures the lasting legacy of the Kirkstall Art Trail for future generations.
