Aim

Fundraising towards the reopening of King's Lynn Night Shelter this autumn!

King's Lynn to Walsingham

in 24 hours

a fundraiser for King’s Lynn Night Shelter

20th June 2026

This midsummer eve one of the Night Shelter staff team is walking 29 miles in 24 hours from the Night Shelter in Lynn to Walsingham, following the Walsingham Way relaunched in June 2026 along the ancient pilgrimage route.

Sponsorship and donations are welcome! Every penny will go towards the costs of reopening the Night Shelter this autumn to provide safe accommodation and ongoing support for people in West Norfolk who have nowhere to go home.

"Our guests often describe to us what it's like being homeless, walking all day, walking at night because they don't have anywhere safe to sleep. I'm walking to Walsingham this summer to help them: and I'll be following in the steps of pilgrims who have been walking to Walsingham for nearly a thousand years to ask for help at this ancient holy place. Any support is very much appreciated!"
