To help a friend in need whose amazing holiday club business has sadly had to close.
Throughout over a decade Cath and her wonderful team of holiday club helpers have supported my sons during holidays and ensured they've had a mix of fun, games and learning in their holidays when me and my husband had to juggle work demands.
Throughout Covid Cath and team received no government support (for those unaware, many small businesses weren't given financial support) and Nimble struggled by relying on minimal expenditure and just about getting by.
Post Covid fast forward to the cost of living crisis and many families affording less, juggling holidays themselves a little more and working from home with kids rather than paying for holiday childcare, which for many became just too much.
Despite all the challenges, Nimble Arts picked themselves back up and it seemed they would bounce back. However, along with families suffering from the cost of living so did many schools and ultimately this led to cost increases in the venues used for clubs by Nimble Arts.
So in a nutshell very very sadly the Nimble Arts journey has come to an abrupt end, like a rollercoaster that has had many many more highs than lows but leaving the person running it in shock and feeling sadness at its closure.
This fundraiser is a show of support for a wonderful human being, a mumpreneur, talented businesswoman, musician and mother.
I hope past customers of Nimble Arts will join with me and give a little to help Cath and her family (1 young child and a newborn baby) through this very difficult time.
Thank you for reading and supporting.
