Aim
I wanted to do a fundraiser to help the homeless in Gloucester with King's Kindness Kits
Why?
My name is Ethel and I am 8 years old. I go to King's School and I wanted to do a fundraiser because I wanted to help the homeless. It is easy to forget when we sit at home that people who are having to live on the streets do not have everyday things. Something as simple as a clean pair of pants or socks. Being homeless can be a very cold and lonely place. Sometimes they are ill or need help because they are sick or unwell.
This made me think about what it might be like not have simple things in my life...
How you can help
You can donate to the charity on this page. All the money will go to the Gloucester City Misson.
You can also bring in spare clothes and everyday essentials to school. You can drop them into the donation station and I will make up the care kit and then take it to the homeless.
It will be called the ‘KINGS KINDNESS KIT’.
To make the care kits we are looking for the following items below:
JUMPERS JEANS TOPS HATS SHIRTS SOCKS COATS GLOVES PANTS [NEW]
And these things:
TOOTHPASTE TOOTHBRUSH FLANNEL HAIRBRUSH
