Help us launch our craft beer bar + kitchen in London's famous Spitalfields Market, and grab some unmissable rewards.
What We're Doing
Building on the success of our small (but perfectly formed) craft beer bottle shop and bar on Brick Lane, Kill The Cat is expanding to a much bigger site in the heart of London's famous Spitalfields market, creating the ultimate craft beer and food destination.
There are places that do great beer, and there are places that do great food, but we're bringing together great beer and great food, so you can explore and indulge your curiosity for new and exciting flavours.
We'll have a full scale bar, kitchen and bottle shop featuring an awesome line up of craft beers, wines and spirits to complement our creative small plates menu, which you'll also be able to enjoy on our dedicated outdoor terrace.
What We Need from You
We need your help to get the doors open. Due to a combination of factors, we have a shortfall. We've had to sink a lot more into the fabric of the site than anticipated, and along with rising costs of materials and equipment (the kitchen and cool room alone were +20% based on 6 months prior), as well as unforeseen delays, our funds have been eroded far quicker than anticipated.
But rather than lining the banks' pockets, we're giving you the chance to support us and bag yourself some awesome rewards in return.
We'll use the cash to complete our fit out, including building our bar, where you'll get personalised service whilst you kick back and enjoy some delicious beer and food pairings, as well as our bottle shop, featuring a hand-picked selection of craft beers, wines and spirits for you to take away or drink in, and our tasting table, which will play host to our ever-popular group tasting sessions and be the focal point for an array of exciting events, covering food, drink, art, music, comedy, and everything in-between!
By supporting us you'll effectively be pre-purchasing credit to use at either of our locations, Spitalfields or Brick Lane, as well as online. Plus, the more you give, the more you get, so please feel free to fill your boots!
The Small Print
Credit will be given in the form of a virtual gift card and will be issued within 1 week after the campaign ends (including any stretch target extensions).
Credit can be spent on food or drink at either of our sites (Spitalfields and Brick Lane) or online.
Pledges of £1000 and over will expire in 5 years from date of issue, pledges under £1000 will expire in 2 years.
The 10% and 20% discounts can't be used in conjunction with credit.
Our launch party date is TBC but aiming for late May / early June. Full details to follow.
