To support vital education projects in Malawi through sponsorship of our young athlete's Crystal Palace Triathlon
Support us on an inspiring day of fun, fitness, and community spirit as our young South London athletes swim, bike, and run to make a difference!
On the 10th of May six kids will take part in the Crystal Palace Triathlon in the name of Think Malawi and here are their reasons why:
"I want to run for Think Malawi so kids get desks and chairs for school"(E, 8 years)
"The schools get water and food" (R, 8 years)
"Because it helps schools in Malawi" (J, 7 years)
"To help other people" (N, 7 years)
"I want schools in Malawi to get proper toilets" (E, 7 years)
"Even though I'm small, I can still make a big difference to the world" (A, 7 years)

Malawi is one of the world's poorest countries with over 70% of its population living in poverty, surviving on less than $2.15 a day.
In Malawi, access to quality education is rare for many children. Poverty, limited resources and inadequate infrastructure hinder their ability to learn and grow. At present only a third of children complete primary school, often in classes exceeding 70+ children with schools facing shortages of desks and books.

Think Malawi is a UK volunteer-run charity (reg. no. 1141352), working hand in hand with Malawian NGOs to improve access to education and the projects it funds typically benefit hundreds of children. As Think Malawi is volunteer run, 90% of donations received go direct to the projects in Malawi which it supports.

Through sponsoring our young athletes you can help us raise funds for vital education projects. Past projects have included constructing desks, innovating through remote learning and sanitary pad projects enabling girls to stay in school, all of which will make a big difference to local school children in Malawi! Any donation is greatly appreciated!
