Aim: Let's kick start 2024 with a bang by creating even more opportunities for our community to get involved with free events, meals & membership

We’re very excited about 2024 and have some ground breaking projects and activities on the horizon. After a challenging few years (we have been operating without any core funding for the last two years) we have continued to deliver not only a packed exhibitions programme, but also a massively successful community food distribution hub and events schedule.

1705669006_img_0008colour.jpgWe are seeking support for our space, and both ongoing & new projects - please give what you can. We’d also like to encourage all our supporters to become members so that we can involve you in our projects this year and offer something back for your support in the form of discounts, exclusive deals and of course just to be a part of our fishy family - officially.

We would like this Crowdfunder to offer an invitation for you to get involved, bring your creative projects to us and join our community. We will be using money raised to once again bring 'School of Fish' to the community (our free creative) workshop weeks; to host a monthly 'befriending' group with Falmouth Age Concern; and to increase our capacity to deliver more free food and community meals.

Rewards include options to book our gallery space for exhibitions or event hire at discounted rates. You can also pledge to receive a hand made postcard in the post from us, or name one of the cats on our toilet wall if these options aren't suitable for you. We are also very happy to accept donations of any amount!

1705941661_catwall2.jpgA bit of history: The Fish Factory began in 2011 because of a need locally for affordable workspaces and opportunities to display artwork, test ideas and come together as a community. We know this space is still needed and we're continually growing with these key ideas in mind.

1705676965_cafe.jpgWe value our independence and wish to remain open for the ad hoc, experimental and even controversial things that often wash up on our shores. Community fundraising is a way to keep that spirit alive. We are a not for profit community interest company (CIC) and put our commitment to the community at the forefront of everything we do - we want you to let us know what you want to see here, and to feel that the Fish belongs to you too.

We have always worked hard to be a safe, welcoming and accessible space for everyone and with support from you we can increase our provision and support even more people. 1705942833_small_fish.jpg

While you are here can we encourage you to pop over to our membership page at Member Mojo (click on link to open) and join as an annual member from as little as £10 (this helps with ongoing costs- it costs us £50,000 a year to cover rent/utilities etc)

Viva la fish!
