My name is Demi and I am a lone parent of 2 little ones, living in Scotland.
I created this campaign in order to continually support Khamis in providing for his family after experiencing the horrific manmade disaster that destroyed everything they owned in Gaza.
In his own words:
I am Khamis Riyad Taha from Gaza, and I am in dire need of your help. My wife and I are elderly and need healthcare, medical expenses, food, and adequate shelter. Please help us.
My entire family is facing extremely harsh and unbearable conditions. We are trying to survive amidst the hardships of life, war, displacement, and the lack of basic necessities.
We used to own a sewing workshop, but we lost everything during the war.
Any support—even just one dollar—can make a huge difference.

اسمي ديمي، وأنا أم عزباء لطفلين صغيرين، أعيش في اسكتلندا.
أطلقتُ هذه الحملة لدعم خميس في توفير احتياجات أسرته بعد الكارثة المروعة التي صنعها الإنسان والتي دمرت كل ما يملكون في غزة.
يقول خميس:
أنا خميس رياض طه من غزة، وأنا في أمسّ الحاجة إلى مساعدتكم. أنا وزوجتي مسنان ونحتاج إلى الرعاية الصحية، وتغطية النفقات الطبية، وتوفير الطعام، ومأوى لائق. أرجوكم ساعدونا.
تواجه عائلتي بأكملها ظروفًا قاسية لا تُطاق. نحاول البقاء على قيد الحياة وسط مصاعب الحياة، والحرب، والنزوح، ونقص الاحتياجات الأساسية.
كنا نمتلك ورشة خياطة، لكننا فقدنا كل شيء خلال الحرب.
