As a club we currently have north of 20 teams from girls/boys & adults.We are raising funds to purchase land due to lack of local facilities

Who are we?

Hi, we are Leamington Khalsa Sports a long established football/Cricket club helping thousands of young boys and girls over 30 years to play Football & cricket. Leamington Khalsa FC was setup in the 1970s and the Juniors were setup in 1992, Leamington Khalsa Cricket was setup in 1995. We are proposing a site for multi sport within the community.

Community impact

As a club we currently have north of 20 teams from girls to boys and across all backgrounds including providing a player path way into our Khalsa Seniors teams. The problem we currently face is the lack of facilities in the region. We find it very difficult to accommodate all our teams and as a result in some cases have to restrict team sizes or even sadly refuse entry to the club.

Our current club growth rate has been rapid over the last few years and we will continue to grow. We have been very successful as a club over the years and even most recently producing 2 academy players for Birmingham City FC.

Why are we crowdfunding?

The solution to our problem is to purchase land, which we can develop into football fields, creating a safe, fun and friendly environment for our club members. We currently train and in some cases play on public fields. At times there is anti social behaviour within the surroundings and dog dirt on the fields, neither of which is safe for our kids. With the new ground, we will also look to accommodate other sports and activities within the local community e.g. we will submit an application for a 4g pitch and this will be for the community to use for all age groups young and old. 

How we’ll spend the money raised

We are looking for land within the region, but simply don't have the financial backing to put in a bid.

This project will secure a home ground not only for the current players, but for future generations to come.

How you can play your part

All proceeds will go to Khalsa Sports, the funding will only be used to purchase and develop the land not for our daily operations and the ground project will be our number one priority.
