Since February 2022, KentRelief (Registered Charity 1204501) has delivered over 150 tonnes of food, medical supplies, and firefighting equipment directly to those caught in the heart of the conflict. We are packing donated aid for our next lorry scheduled to depart at the end of March 2026.
But today, our mission has ground to a halt. Our charity shop helps to fund our operations. Every book, coat, and trinket sold contributes directly to lorry loads of aid. But a broken security shutter at the charity shop has forced us to stop trading.
This isn't just about a repair; it’s about survival. If we can’t fix the shop, we can’t send the aid. It’s that simple. We need to raise £5,000 to repair the shutter, reopen to our community, and ensure that our March aid convoy - and every one after it - reaches the people who need it most. Your donation will enable this one-off repair to have a lasting impact: we refuse to let a mechanical failure at our charity shop be the reason a family in Ukraine goes without food, hygiene items or medicine. Let's fix the shutter, reopen the shop, restore the income, and keep the aid flowing.
