We're still collecting donations
On the 4th July 2020 we'd raised £5,645 with 122 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Your pledge will help us to keep our unique attraction on track. We want to be around to make memories for generations to come.

On the 4th July 2020 we'd raised £5,645 with 122 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We have now been closed for over 7 weeks and it will be as long again before the Government permits businesses like ours to reopen. It is also clear that when we are next able to welcome visitors, things will not be the same. We will be redesigning our public areas to enforce social distancing and enhancing hygiene facilities; whilst the safety of our visitors and staff is our upmost priority, these measures will reduce our capacity significantly. It is going to be an extremely challenging year ahead.
Our site has been bringing enjoyment to holiday-makers, day trippers and locals for over 70 years, and is a beloved attraction in the seaside town of Cleethorpes.
We are a small privately run enterprise who run a 2 mile miniature railway, the smallest pub on the planet 'The Signal Box Inn' and 'Platform One Café'. Our main season runs from April to September and alongside this, we run an extensive events programme.
We are supported by a small dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers.
The site means a great deal to many people.
If you love what we do as much as us, now is the time to help if you can!
Unfortunately under the current circumstances, we have been unable to operate for over half of our peak season, and whilst we have furloughed staff and taken advantage of Government support, we still have to meet our regular financial outlays with no income whatsoever to provide for them.
When this crisis broke, we were midway through making further improvements to our beer garden, developing a new picnic area, refurbishing a set of carriages and restoring a steam locomotive. These exciting projects that would benefit our visitors have now been put on hold and we have had to cancel a number of our special events.
We understand that this is a hard time for everyone right now.
However if you have reached this page and love what we do, we would be grateful for your support to enable us to move forward. Your pledge will help us kick start those important projects and cover our fixed costs in the year ahead.
If you are able to pledge what you would normally pay for a price of a train journey, a round of drinks, or even more, we would be extremely grateful.
We have a selection of different rewards that we are offering as a thank you.
Your pledge will help us to keep on track. We want to be around to make memories for generations to come.
Please continue to stay safe, we look forward to welcoming you all again soon.
