We are a group of locals - based in and around Effingham and Little Bookham in Surrey.
We've been building visors from delivered component parts, for health workers in the South (Portsmouth) and are starting to receive requests for health workers closer to home, here in Surrey.
Can you help us to buy the necessary materials - asap - so that we can galvanise efforts here and get this vital equipment to our front line health care staff?
Our next steps are:
To buy: PVC plastic sheets, acetate and elastic
These pictures show the design of the two types of visor we can make with the machine use we have been offered so far:
To borrow: 3D printers and laser cutters (thank you already to the amazing team at the Howard of Effingham and Downsend schools who have already agreed). If you have another machine we can use please contact us.
To supply: Any frontline staff who need this equipment locally. If that's you please let us know by clicking this link & filling out our very short online contact form and we will do our best to help.
Please help us, help them.
Crowdfunder are offering up their platform for free - all funds raised will be used 100% to create and distribute protection for frontline staff.
