Aim
JailBreak Cafe is a fantastic community space to come & warm up with hot drinks and tasty food - you'll be supporting teenagers with cancer
Who are we?
JailBreak Cafe is a unique experience in dining - in the original cells of the old police station, enjoy delicious hot and cold drinks and fantastic sandwiches and cakes. All proceeds go to Teens Unite to support teenagers and young adults overcome the challenges cancer brings.
Community impact
- 100% of all proceeds go to the Charity enabling them to support more young people fighting cancer
- during the week, the café is run entirely by the generosity of a team of volunteers
- the café is never complacent about Health & Safety, receiving a 5* rating from Environmental Health on its first inspection, and ensuring that we stay on top of cleanliness and follow all Regulatory and Legislative Guidelines to the letter. Reminding all users that we care through our signage, decals, and communication channels
- the integrity of the building has been maintained which makes it a prime site for film locations companies – many have booked in already, all of which brings income and opportunity to the Borough of Broxbourne
- offering one-off events and experiences including Afternoon Tea, Children’s Themed Parties, and bookable meeting/event space
Why are we crowdfunding?
Like so many Charities, Teens Unite is impacted in numerous ways by the current economic crisis: our running costs are increasing, and demand for our services is higher than ever, while our cash balances don't stretch as far, and our income is falling as people have less to give. We need your help to keep the Cafe warm, and make it a welcoming place for the community to come together. Any donation will have continuing impact as all proceeds from the cafe support the Charity's increasing number of beneficiaries.

How we’ll spend the money raised
Put simply, we will pay our heating bills! We will maintain the service of the cafe as a warm and welcoming space for the community to come together and enjoy hot food and drinks.
