Chalk Farm Learning Disabilities Centre is a charity in Willingdon that trains and supports 40 adults with learning disabilities and autism. Students train at Chalk Farm hotel and the hotel grounds learning all things hospitality and horticulture. Students are trained Monday - Friday with the goal being they can go out and gain a carer whether that be paid or voluntary. Students also learn valuable independent life skills.  

Most of Chalk Farm LDC's funds came from weddings, functions and fundraisers which have all been cancelled until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Money is needed for bills, general up-keep of the grade II listed hotel as well as training programmes for our students, so they can carry on their vital training from home. 

Five fundraisers have been cancelled for March/April alone, meaning an estimated loss of over £2000. This is without the functions, weddings, dinners and lunches that would have also taken place. 

We understand that this is a tough time for everyone, anything you can offer will be very much appreciated.
