Aim
The aim of this project is to raise much needed revenue to help cover the massively increased utility bills to keep the clubhouse warm.
Who are we?
We are Treorchy & Cwmparc Boys & Girls Club, we are a local not for profit community organisation that provides sporting activities (ie. Football, Basketball, Snooker & Pool, Darts, Youth Club, Arts & Craft's etc.) and general well being to the children of the community, the club is run completely by volunteers
Community impact
Here at the Club we like think we have a positive impact on the community, not only do we provide for the children in our community we also hold various community events throughout the year (ie. table top sales, parties/functions, concerts, xmas fair etc.), we also hold regular Youth Club and Health & Well Being drop in centre with YEPS.
Why are we crowdfunding?
The reason we are Crowdfunding is because of the massive increase in our utility bills which is putting a massive strain on the club financially, the cost of living crisis is having a massive impact on the whole of the community, the clubs utility bills are now nearly 5x what they used to be this time last year.
How we’ll spend the money raised
All funds raised will be put towards on our utility bills to make sure the club is a kept a warm and welcoming place to be in these cold Winter months.
