Aim: The time has come to ask for a bit of help to keep us going through these times. Our business has suffered severely from two lockdowns
Dear friends
Re: HELP OUR INDEPENDENT CAFE TO KEEP US GOING THROUGH THESE DIFFICULT TIMES
We are a small independent coffee-shop on Borough High Street, Southwark, offering a range of teas, coffees, milkshakes and tasty snacks. We pride ourselves on being an accessible and friendly venue catering for local residents, office workers, students, police officers and tourists.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for businesses like us and we have had to operate extended hours to compensate for lost footfall. The current situation and the likelihood of further lockdowns, or trading and working restrictions, puts our future in jeopardy.
To ensure that we can guarantee a stable cashflow to see us through the coming months, and to allow us to invest in future-proofing the business (online marketing, covid screens etc.) we are asking for your help to raise £10k.
Having been trading for over 4 years we are a viable business. We very much look forward to continuing to be part of our community offering refreshments, a space to socialise, and employment opportunities. But we need your help to see us through the cold, dark winter months.
WHY SUPPORT US?
-You'll keep an independent cafe on the high street open.
-As well as supporting us directly, you'll be supporting small businesses and jobs.
-And as a token of our appreciation, we'll offer you some treats in return, or reward your gratitude by helping others
