We’re asking for £4,392 to cover an urgent, unexpected cost after our lighting desk failed and had to be replaced immediately at Glusburn Community & Arts Centre.
There was no warning. No time to plan. Just a vital piece of equipment failing — and a theatre that couldn’t afford to go dark. We had to act quickly to keep performances, touring acts, and community productions running safely and professionally.
Now we need your help to recover from that emergency spend.
Our theatre is at the heart of our centre. Income from shows supports our historic Victorian building and funds everything else we do — from creative workshops and classes to wellbeing activities that bring people together.
In a rural area, that matters. It reduces isolation, builds confidence, and creates real connection through shared experience.
