Raising funds to sound proof our venue for local residents and the continuation of The Cornish Bank.
What a ride it's been so far, opening a community arts space in the middle of a global pandemic was never going to be easy! However with your help and overwhelming support we have put on over 100 events including markets, drawing groups, film nights, comedy and lots and lots of diverse music. Whilst supporting local artists, we have also encouraged musicians to visit us from as far as Sudan. We have also opened a community cafe, 95% of our produce is directly traceable to a 30 mile radius. Operating 7 days a week and directly employing 26 staff - we believe we are incredibly positive for the local economy.
It has recently become apparent that sound can be heard by local residents. We need to rectify this for them and for the continuation of The Cornish Bank. We have a plan designed by acoustic engineers that can solve this problem and enable us to flourish. We are asking for your help again, any donations, big or small, will help this project go ahead.
