£20,000 Target Reached

We've done it!!!   Thank you all for your incredible support and hard work to help us reach our initial £20,000 Crowdfunder target.  This means that the £8000 pledged by Sport England is now ours to keep.  Every penny raised is going to help us to get the club back on its feet after such a long period of lock down. However this fundraising campaign is not quite over...

Deadline Extended to 7 April

As the deadline for our 'March Fish out of Water Challenges' is 31 March and we want to give all those undertaking challenges enough time to collect their sponsorship, the nice people at Crowdfunder have agreed we can extend our deadline to 7 April.  So don't panic, if you are still running, scooting, doing burpees or flying press ups  - complete your challenge by 31 March and you have a few more days to collect your hard-earned sponsorship and submit it.

Stretch Target - £30,000

As we are able to keep going, we've set ourselves a 'stretch target'of £30,000.  We've now got 12 days left to try to reach this target.  £20,000 is amazing and anything extra will really help us to make up the losses we incurred due to the pandemic and ensure that we can keep growing and developing our club. 

Extra Funding 

Now that we have reached our initial target and have been able to extend our deadline, we have the opportunity to apply for a few extra grants - so we are busy doing this and will let you know how we get on.

Community Support

We have been overwhelmed by support from our swimmers, coaches, parents, families, friends, local community, businesses and the media.  Every penny you help us raise will be put to good work and go towards putting the club on a more secure footing, allowing us to take advantage of the easing of lock down, pools re-opening and swimming starting in earnest again.
