Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club (PNSC)
17th March 2021Keep Portsmouth Swimming fundraising total jumps to over £14,000
Dear Supporters and Members,
Sport England Funding - Return to Play: Active Together
We've had some rather good news, that we wanted to share with you.
Due to your incredible support, in the last few days we reached 25% of our CrowdFunder target, when this happened our application to Sport England's Return to Play - Active Together fund was triggered and they have awarded us a pledge of £8000. This amount has been added to our pot and our total has shot up to just over £14,000!
These CrowdFunder campaigns are short and sharp and if we are successful in reaching our £20,000 target in two weeks - we get to keep the Sport England £8000. We therefore need to work really hard to achieve our target and then what a great place we would be in when we get back in the pool in April.
We have a plan of action and you will hopefully see this starting to work in the next few days.
How you can help?
1. Please continue to like and share our content to encourage others to support us. Tag us in your posts and keep sharing this link https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/keep-portsmouth-swimming
2. If you can
pledge anymore or have sponsored your swimmer for a March Fish Out of Water Challenge - please add your pledge as soon as you can. Our swimmers, coaches and parents have pulled out all the stops and are pushing them selves hard through a range of tough challenges.
3. Rewards - if you have anything you can donate to us that we can offer as a Reward please email [email protected] It could for example be a voucher for a hair cut and blow dry, gardening services, house cleaning or photography session.
4. Corporate Sponsors - we have brilliant sponsorship packages for companies that might like to support us - some of them they are in the Rewards section but for further details email [email protected]
5. Look out for our launch of limited edition PNSC gear in the next few days - we think you are going to love it! It will be exclusively available here and all proceeds will go into our CrowdFunder pot.
