Keep Kyiv’s Rescue Cats Warm This Winter

Aim

Help us raise £800 for a power station to keep rescued cats in Kyiv safe, warm and cared for during winter blackouts. 🐾 🇺🇦

When the Power Goes Out, Their Safety Shouldn't. 🐾

Help Kyiv's rescued cats through winter.

Our goal: £800 for emergency backup power.

Winter in Kyiv can be bitterly cold. And for rescued cats living in an animal shelter, losing electricity can mean losing access to the light, warmth and essential equipment that make their refuge safe and comfortable.

These cats have already been through so much. Some have been abandoned. Others have been rescued from dangerous circumstances. All deserve somewhere safe to rest, recover and be cared for.

We're asking for your help to give a cat rescue shelter in Kyiv something simple but vital: a reliable source of emergency electricity.

One power station. A real difference.

We are raising £800 to purchase and deliver a portable battery power station for a cat shelter in Kyiv, helping volunteers continue caring for the animals during power cuts.

It will help provide:

• Light in the darkness - keeping essential areas illuminated when electricity fails.

• Power for essential devices - supporting low-energy shelter equipment.

• A way to stay connected - charging phones so volunteers can communicate and coordinate care.

• Support for warmth - powering compatible, low-wattage warming equipment for limited periods, if the capacity allows.

It won't solve every challenge of winter. But it can make a meaningful difference when the electricity goes out.

Why now?

Winter is approaching, and preparing for freezing temperatures cannot wait until the coldest days arrive.

We want to get this equipment to the shelter before it is urgently needed.

How you can help

❤️ £10 — A small gift towards a vital piece of equipment.

❤️ £20 — Help bring us another step closer to emergency power.

❤️ £40 — Make a meaningful contribution towards keeping essential devices running.

❤️ £80 — Fund 10% of our entire goal.

❤️ £160 — Fund one-fifth of the appeal.

Just 40 people giving £20 would reach our £800 target.

Every donation, large or small, brings us closer.

Where your money will go

The funds will be used to purchase a portable power station, the accessories needed to operate it safely and delivery to the shelter in Kyiv.

They cannot ask for help. But we can.

A warm, safe shelter should be a place where rescued cats can finally feel secure.

Please help us make sure that when the lights go out, the people caring for them have the power to carry on.

Donate today. Share this appeal. Help Kyiv's rescue cats face winter with a little more security.

Thank you for caring. 🐾🇺🇦
