We're still collecting donations
On the 29th December 2021 we'd raised £10,635 with 142 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

The more we have in the pot the more free books we can place in children's hands. That means a wider choice of dual languages, extended outreach programmes, and more children's titles
The power of a story
At Kashfi's Children we passionately believe that books change lives.
For displaced families receiving a book in your own language is enormously reassuring - dual language books are both a statement of inclusion and identity and a reminder of our commonalities in this often divided world.
Our books hitch a ride with camel libraries to remote villages in Pakistan, travel by bicycle in Afghanistan and are handed out by a network of volunteers, in countries where children are marginalised, where they face adversity and where they often have little or no access to education.
As the result of an exciting collaboration with US-based Hoopoe Books, six fully-illustrated tales taken from Middle Eastern and Central Asian teaching stories told to promote thinking skills, will be made available, free of charge, to children living all over the world. We'll add to these titles as funds allow. Given the current situation in Ukraine we are launching with English/Ukrainian.
By camel, by bike, from hand to hand, across the world
With your help, Kashfi's Children's team engages young, dynamic illustrators to bring these stories to life and Hoopoe prints these beautiful storybooks locally, in dual languages.
At Kashfi's Children and at Hoopoe Books, we have seen that education fosters understanding, tolerance, positive change and hope.
We are committed to using our contacts in publishing, the media, charities, and education to produce and distribute books to educate, draw attention to our commonalities, fight radicalisation and promote literacy across the world.
From Syrian refugees living in Turkey, to children on the streets of Mexico City, to primary school children in London or New York, thinking children are more likely to grow into thinking adults.
Your gift of donations will help us gift potentially life-changing books to children.
With your help, we pledge to continue working towards education for all.
Anything you give will mean another book in a child's hands.
