About the project

The aim of Kasa Foundation is to eradicate poverty in rural villages in Sylhet, Bangladesh and give people a better future.

Our programmes are to help families build a brighter future free from hunger and poverty. We are currently focusing on education sponsorships, nutrition, health, providing equipment for people who have a disability and donating clothes and tys for families. We have been sponsoring poor children with their education, giving out wheelchairs to disabled children and adults who have been bed bound since birth, paying for children's treatments, sending boxes full of clothes, food and toys to the poor families. We are also hoping to build water pumps in selected villages in the upcoming year to provide access to clean water and to where it's needed the most. 

We are currently building a 5 storey Orphanage for 125 girls to live and study within. The girls are from the ages of 3 till 18. One floor is nearly completed but we need to raise £7000 more for another 4 floors to be built. Every penny we get will help towards the building of the orphanage and go towards the facilities needed. This orphanage will help secure these girls future.
