Aim
Protect Roving Canal Traders livelihoods from unfair additional licence requirements
We are group of roving canal traders and others who are outraged by certain councils who have demanded street traders licences when we already have CRT traders licences. This is a campaign which aims to protect traders ability to trade on the towpath from this threat. We are going to fund raise to pay for a legal opinion, bring a test case in court, and long term to change the law to protect our rights.
Legal dispute
This project raises funds for a legal dispute. Neither Crowdfunder nor the project owner can guarantee its outcome, that it will be resolved, or that the amount raised will be enough to see it through. Even a favourable result may be appealed or overturned.
