We design and produce luxury silk scarves to be worn and treasured forever. Our ethos commits to enduring style and women empowering women.
ABOUT US
Just Add Style is a London design studio co-founded by Em and Lisa, a creatively talented and experienced duo forever on the hunt for all things stylish to inspire and enhance the lives of fabulous women of all ages.
Em is one of fashion illustration’s rising stars in sartorial figurative art and has a highly credible background. A graduate of Chelsea Art School in London and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, her career was launched with a sell out collection of original fashion illustrations at London’s iconic V&A museum. She has gone on to collaborate with major international fashion magazines including Elle and Glamour, as well as a myriad of luxury brands such as Radley and Liberty Of London. Her work hangs in private art collections worldwide.
Lisa is an accomplished branding expert and graphic designer who’s extensive client list includes start-ups and established brands across many business sectors.
OUR SCARVES
‘London Fashion’ launched in late autumn 2019 and begins the Just Add Style womenswear journey. This luxury silk scarf is adorned with fashion illustrations inspired by stylish women Em and Lisa witness in their daily lives.
The scarf is the perfect visual representation of the marriage between Em’s highly skilled craftsmanship for fashion drawing and Lisa’s innovative design work.
The ‘London Fashion’ silk scarf design began with original one-of-a-kind ink drawings by Em which Lisa carefully translated into a digital textile world, editing and refining the design until the fashion illustrations were re-imagined as a complete print which tells its own story and embodies the urban glamour and signature spirit of Just Add Style and the women who wear our scarves.
Our second design, ‘Fashion Hounds’, has been sampled and is now ready for a full print run. Both designs have been received well by press and stockists with ‘London Fashion’ featuring as an Editor's Pick in the Sunday Mail YOU Magazine.
SUPPORTING WOMEN
We’re passionate about supporting and encouraging women to thrive and we pledge to donate £5 of every online Just Add Style scarf sale to Smart Works, a UK charity which helps empower women to succeed in the world of employment.
Smart Works provides high quality interview clothes and interview training to unemployed women in need. They harness the power of clothes and confidence to allow a woman to be her best at a crucial moment in her life, giving her the self-belief and the practical tools required to succeed at interview and transform her life.
WHAT WILL WE DO WITH THE FUNDS WE RAISE?
We are crowd funding to enable us to take the next step with our business. We are ready to print the second of our designs - ‘Fashion Hounds’ - and have other designs and products in development and ready to sample.
We would also like to use the money to extend our reach with the press and on social media.
Our vision is to use our platform to support more initiatives and charities like Smart Works in the future, connecting with other female-led businesses to empower women and to spread good style of course! We believe in slow fashion and sustainable pieces that will last a lifetime and celebrate the women who wear them.

OUR REWARDS
We are offering a range of rewards for supporting us, from hand written thank you cards signed by Emma, a pack of cards featuring illustrations by Emma, to ‘London Fashion’ scarves and original hand drawn illustrations of the stylish women and Dalmatians that adorn our designs.
Please note that if you choose a ‘Fashion Hounds’ scarf as your reward, you will need to be patient as there will be a 6-8 week lead time for the print once we have finished our crowd fund. They will be worth the wait!
If you choose an original illustration as your reward, we will be in touch to discuss which one you would like - either one of our stylish women or an adorable Dalmatian.
