We're still collecting donations
On the 18th September 2020 we'd raised £785 with 20 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our aim is to provide additional funding to to ensure that more children can train and fulfil their potential.

On the 18th September 2020 we'd raised £785 with 20 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Serpentine Running club juniors was established in 2014 with the aim of providing quality coaching and training for children, since then the squad has grown in numbers and in enthusiasm to be the best that they can be.
We currently have 70 junior athletes on register and they regularly compete in regional competitions such as MYAL (track and field) and the Met League (cross country) as well as nationally.
Unfortunately as the squad grows the costs of being able to give them quality coaching and training does so too and this is why we are reaching out for help.
All funds raised will go towards providing more coaching sessions, extra essential equipment and being able to fund competition entry and expenses as well as membership costs to those children whose families are currently going through hardship.
We also hope to raise enough so that we are able to pay for track bookings so the young athletes can compete in a new initiative we hope to begin. Our hope is to hold a series of club races of various distances suitable to their ages which are similar to our seniors Club Champs of 1k,3k and 5k races and a youth form of our seniors club handicap.
Our children bring bounds of enthusiasm to their sessions and work hard to improve themselves, we would like to give them the opportunities to be the next generation Team GB member.
